Heart Knot

This is a engraving on granite of this [link] knot. As opposed to my other knot carving [link] which is done as a releif in granite. A big thanks goes out to for advice on tempering the chisel that I made to put the finish on this pice after I had finished roughed it out with a larger chisel. The title is partly the work of who commented on the planing sketch and spoted a heart motif that had illuded me untill I had her point of view. Thanks! This is an unending knot so have fun (if that's your idea of a good time) following it around and around with your eyes. I did this in about the same time, if not less, than as for first stone knot I did. It's about half the size of the other knot as well.
