Enemy Within

Right out of the X-files are some of the stranger parasitic fungi. This once was a moth. The spores of a certain speceis of fungi were on it's body. They sent out little fibers and two of them met. Genetic infromation was exchanged and the organism began to grow. It filled the small cretures body with fibers that soaked up nutrients. When the moth could go no furthur pearched on a log. The fungi continued to digest it's body. Finaly it died. Those white branches are the fruiting body. They are relesing millions more spores into the air to prey upon more unsuspecting moths.
