Artist's Comments
I wish I could have gotten a better close up shot. The subject was very skiddish so I have about 8 pictures of him each taken a little closer up. After this shot he scampered away before I even tried to get closer. This was at Cerro de la Muerte up at about 3,000 meters on the side of our boarding house. I don't know what kind of lizard it was but this picture does not to the iridescent color justice.
I was usually freezing my tail off during the high altitude part of the trip so I don't know how this little guy manages. |
